Earlier this month, Celina Fire Station No. 4 marked a major milestone with an on-site beam signing event. 🔥🚒

Hosted by our partners at Crossland Construction Company, Inc. , the event brought together the City Government of Celina, Texas, Fire Chief Shawn White, the Celina Fire Department, our project design team, and many other project partners to recognize continued progress on the station.

The 15,799 square-foot facility is designed for operational efficiency, rapid response, and long-term service. Program elements include three drive-through apparatus bays, individual dorms, dedicated support spaces, and a three-story training tower to support ongoing firefighter training.

Conduit is proud to help deliver a facility built with intention, responsive to firefighter needs, and designed to support public safety long-term!

Project Spotlight: Legend Bank (Sherman, Texas)

This 5,000 square-foot branch established a new identity for Legend Bank, drawing from a contemporary Texas Hill Country palette. Exposed timber trusses, Lueders stone, brick, and siding are layered with a champagne standing seam metal roof and dark steel accents to establish a strong exterior presence. Inside, clerestory windows bring in natural light, shaping a bright, open lobby that enhances the overall customer experience.

Completed in February of 2020 by Young Enterprises.

Exciting to see the continued progress at Forney Fire Station No. 2. We’re proud to be part of a project that will support the firefighters who serve the Forney community every day. 👏

We’re getting closer! Work continues on the Station 2 renovation and expansion, including a new apparatus bay, training tower, upgraded living spaces, expanded parking, and more to better support our firefighters and community.🚒

We’re still soaking in how exciting it was to see TUPPS Brewery featured on America ByDesign on CBS this past week! ​The episode, along with the full series, is available to stream on the ByDesign TV YouTube channel. 📺

This project has meant a lot to our team from the very beginning. Transforming a historic industrial site into a community gathering place in Downtown McKinney was an incredible experience, and it was special getting to share that story on a national platform.​

Our work with TUPPS Brewery is being featured on an upcoming episode of America ByDesign with ByDesign TV, and we’re excited to share a little teaser. 🍻🎥

Located on a historic granary site on the east side of McKinney, this project reworks 3.5 acres into a true destination for the community. The design leans into what was already there. Existing equipment and materials were repurposed throughout the site, keeping that industrial character intact while layering in new structure and circulation to support a much larger public use. It’s a balance of preservation and expansion, with a lot happening behind the scenes to make movement through the space feel clear and easy!

This was a collaborative effort from the start, working alongside McKinney Community Development Corporation, McKinney, Texas - Unique by Nature, and Tupps Brewery. We are grateful for our strong group of partners for the series including MCDC, ASSA ABLOY Door Security Solutions, Matador Engineering, Red Dot Buildings, and SESCO Lighting, Inc.
