On April 28, 2021, a massive 7.1-inch hailstone was documented in Vigo Park, Swisher County, Texas, during a severe storm outbreak across the Texas Panhandle. That system produced multiple extreme hail reports in the 6–7+ inch range… the kind of size that can cause catastrophic roofing and exterior damage in minutes.
