As promised, we are going to be reintroducing our partners and the faces behind The Tom Day Company over the next few weeks! First up, our Founder and President, Tom Day!
Tom’s passion for construction began at an early age in his hometown of Two Rivers, Wisconsin. By 12, he was working alongside his father pouring concrete, an experience that sparked a lifelong love of the industry. What started as small projects quickly grew into larger responsibilities, laying the literal and figurative foundation for his future career. To this day, Tom still considers a well-executed concrete pour one of the most rewarding parts of the job.
Tom later relocated to North Texas, where he met his wonderful wife, Brooke. While building and managing apartment communities, he developed a vision for a company that would combine his expertise in general contracting and property management alongside his partner, Mary. On April 1, 2009, that vision became reality with the founding of The Tom Day Company.
Under Tom’s leadership, The Tom Day Company has grown alongside his family. He is a proud father of three and a proud grandfather to two (soon to be three!) grandchildren. His son, Siler, now serves as Vice President, continuing a three-generation legacy in construction.
Outside of work, Tom enjoys spending time with his family at the lake, cheering on the Green Bay Packers, and exploring local restaurants.
