SOME MOMENTS ARE ABOUT SO MUCH MORE THAN THE WORK WE DO❤️

On October 6, our Burnside team had the privilege of giving Willena Williams something far more meaningful than a new AC system.

We got to give her comfort, relief, and the peace of mind of knowing she could stay comfortable in her home without having to carry the financial burden of a new system.

Standing in the same McKinney home where Burnside owner Donnie installed an AC more than 30 years ago, this installation felt especially significant.

Willena has spent nearly 65 years building a life in that home with her late husband, Roger - a man who dedicated 31 years to Lennox Industries and two years to Burnside.

Now, decades later, Burnside was back at her door.

This time, we weren’t simply installing equipment.

We were giving back to a woman who has been part of our community for years.

Thanks to Lennox Feel The Love, Willena received a brand-new AC system completely free of charge. Lennox provided the equipment, while our Burnside team handled the installation.

And for our team, getting to be there for this moment was something we won’t soon forget.

Willena told us:

“Not a day has gone by that I don’t feel blessed.”

We feel just as blessed to have been able to do this for her.

Because sometimes, the most important thing we install isn’t an AC system.

It’s a little more comfort in someone’s life. ❤️

At 87 years old, Willena is facing life without the husband she spent nearly 65 years beside, and living on a fixed income made replacing her failing 35-year-old AC nearly impossible.

Then, on October 6, something changed.

30+ years later, we came full circle💚

More than three decades ago, Burnside owner Donnie installed the original AC system in a McKinney home.

This week, our team returned to that same home to replace it - this time for Willena Williams, a longtime member of our community.

Willena’s late husband, Roger, spent 31 years with Lennox Industries and two years with Burnside. He and Willena were married for nearly 65 years.

When her 35-year-old AC system was found to be in poor condition, Willena was facing the reality of needing a new system while living alone on a fixed income.

Then came a life-changing phone call from Burnside.

She had been selected to receive a FREE new AC system through Lennox Feel The Love❤️

On October 6, our Burnside team installed her new system at no cost to her.

Lennox provided the equipment. Burnside provided the local team, the installation and, most importantly, the opportunity to give back to one of our neighbors.

What started with an HVAC installation more than 30 years ago came full circle this week.

For Willena, it’s a new AC system.
For us, it’s a reminder of why we do what we do.
