We're back with another edition of Interns in Action, this time featuring our Princeton ISD interns!

Our interns had the opportunity to spend part of their summer in the field, gaining firsthand experience alongside our project teams. In this spotlight, they reflect on their time with Pogue and share how the experience helped them grow both personally and professionally.

For Wesley Rogers, one of the best parts of Pogue’s culture is the people.

Throughout his career, he has enjoyed working alongside talented, professional teammates who have helped shape the way he approaches projects, relationships, and leadership.

Wesley is also a strong believer in the value of preconstruction. In his experience, the time and effort put in on the front end can make all the difference once the project is underway. When teams identify challenges early, get aligned, and build a clear plan, that work continues to pay off throughout the life of the project.

On every project, Wesley takes pride in helping maintain a healthy team dynamic. Owners, architects, and contractors all want the same thing: a successful project. Even when challenges come up, open communication, mutual respect, and a collaborative mindset help keep everyone focused on the outcome.
