During the fall season 🍁, it is routine to get a seasonal cleanup. It is as routine as getting halloween candy or already seeing holiday things 🎅in the stores even though its October!

Aeration is a service that must be done this fall!

It helps fight 💪against the evil 👹that is compaction. As scary👻 as it may seem compaction clogs and blocks💦 water, air and nutrients from getting to the roots of your soil!!!😱

Without an aeration service you can be risking disease, damage and possible death⚰️ to your lawn! 💀

Make sure your lawn gets the nutrients, air, and water 💦 it needs by getting an aeration service this fall and make your lawn last through the winter❄️ too!!

There are certain jobs, certain times, where jobs and tasks just flow better at certain times of year - and aeration of your lawn is the same way! 💁🏽‍♀️

Aeration is a big helping hand 🖐🏽 you can offer your landscape, giving aid to the soil beneath ⬇️ the plants and therefore those plants growing above. ⬆️

Your lawn needs to be able to soak up all the nutrients it possibly can 😌, but once the soil becomes compacted it’s nearly impossible to get everything it needs 🙅🏽‍♀️, and that’s where problems start to arise!

Here in Texas, if you want quality sod laid down at your home, you’re not going to choose cool-season grasses such as tall fescue or Kentucky bluegrass. They just wouldn’t thrive well.

You would, however, go for some beautiful warm-season grasses such as St. Augustine or Bermuda!

Both of these hardy grasses do much better in droughts, and handle the heat well compared to their northern counterparts. They also can handle salty air better, making for great choices if you live near water!

These types of grasses are great for your lawn if you want some that are strong and can handle your busy, or simple, lifestyles!

When homeowners stop and imagine 💭 their dream home, there are certain ideas and perks that stand out to them as important. 🤔🏡

What may be ‘important’ to some folks, may not be to others. 💁🏽‍♀️ But one big hardscaping installation many people across the board want is a place to relax and hang out outside. 😌☀️

If you spend a lot of time outside in your yard, or have kiddos possibly that do 👧🏽, you can tell when the grass isn’t up to par with what it should be. 🌱👎🏽

Between thinning areas and short, stunted growth ⬇️, your grass can be scratchy and not fun to hang out on ☹️, which can defeat the purpose of having a lawn!

Overseeding your lawn is the answer to all of these problems! 👍🏽 Spreading out plenty of grass seeds to help fill in those gaps will give you a softer, filled in lawn that’s nice to lounge on! 💚

Everybody wants nice grass surrounding your home 🏡, and this is one of the best ways to accomplish that! 😍

Your hedges can be beautiful walkway linings, driveway accents, or added privacy along your fence line. 💁🏽‍♀️😍

It can become a hassle, an eyesore 👀💥, from being completely unruly in no time - unless you make sure to keep them trimmed up periodically! ✂️

Whether you decide to round them out on the top ⬆️, or keep them squared off, the shape can be anything you want it to be! 👍🏽 In order to keep that lovely shape though, these hedge trimming services are going to have to be a MUST for your lawn! ✔️🌿

Mulching your lawn before the end of the fall season is going to be your best bet 👍🏽 for keeping the plants beneath it happy and healthy! ❤️

When you lay down mulch on the landscape beddings you have on your lawn 🌱, it’s almost like a heater effect right there for you plants. 😌

It traps in whatever heat exists, returning it back to the soil ⬇️ and base of the plants 🌿 to keep it from getting damaged on a more cellular level.

It’s cool isn’t it, that there’s science 🧪 even in the simple lawn maintenance you do? We sure think so! 🙋🏽‍♀️

Just like pruning any flowers or plants 🌿🌼 you have, your hedges need trimming to keep them healthy through the colder times of year. 🥶

This will make sure when the growing season starts back up again, they’ll be better fit to grow bigger & more lush! ⬆️💪🏽

Sometimes these trims don’t even have to be big ones either 🙅🏽‍♀️ - often all it takes is littler trims here and there around the plant, just minimally cutting back where it’s needed. ✂️

Your hedges need just as much to be prepared as the whole rest of your lawn does! 🌱💁🏽‍♀️
