Some of the most important work on a building is the work no one sees once the project is complete.

Ernesto and his crew are making great progress on the below-grade waterproofing at the historic Refugio County Courthouse. The team is carefully detailing the membrane and drainage system around the existing foundation to help protect this building from water intrusion for years to come.

We’re proud of the work our waterproofing and masonry crews are doing at the Coryell Health Clinic project!

After a recent third-party inspection, the building-envelope consultant said he doesn’t give this kind of praise often—but called the work being performed by the waterproofers, masons, and glazers “top notch.”

With both Republic crews still onsite, it was the perfect time to fire up the grill and cook burgers for the team. Great work starts with great people, and we appreciate the pride and craftsmanship these men bring to the job every day.

Gabriel and the crew are doing a great job installing the Rmax ECOMAXci® air barrier system on the Coryell Health Project. The team is making great progress as we continue building a high-performance building envelope.

Progress continues at the historic Farmers & Merchants Bank building in Pilot Point, Texas.

The existing wall has been demoed, and our team is moving into the next phase of work. Up next will be the temporary wall, followed by new concrete, CMU, and reclaimed brick to help restore and strengthen this nearly 130-year-old structure.

This is the kind of restoration work that takes planning, coordination, and steady ex*****on from start to finish.

Great work by Joel Curry and the team for keeping this project moving forward.

Curious to see what Republic can do?

On this 120-year-old building, our team is repointing mortar joints, repairing and restoring plaster, cleaning the brick, and reglazing the windows.

Preserving the past takes skilled craftsmen, attention to detail, and pride in doing the job right.

Victor and his crew are getting started on a new CMU project at a local industrial plant.
While several of our teams were working through the weekend on waterproofing, sealants, shoring, and masonry, this crew was busy laying the foundation for another successful project.

People often ask what we do at Republic Waterproofing & Restoration.

This picture shows the detailed steps behind a proper building envelope waterproofing system. On the right, the purple sheathing is being detailed with screw-head treatment, window flashing, corner flashing, base flashing, and head flashing. Once those details are complete, the final step is applying the air barrier.

On the left, you can see the finished grey air barrier installed and ready for masonry veneer.

Great work by our estimators, project managers, installers, and field superintendents on the Texas Baptist Student Ministry project at Baylor University.
