With the storms that rolled through last night - and more coming through now - we’re already seeing sizeable hail, strong winds, and real damage. Not just on jobs… we’re dealing with it at our own homes too.
Across the area, we’re seeing shingles blown off, siding hits, and debris from the wind - and a lot of people aren’t sure what to look for or what to do next.
Here’s the reality:
Most storm damage isn’t obvious from the ground, but waiting too long can make things harder with insurance.
If you were in it, here’s what you can do right now:
• 📱 Take a quick video walking your property (say time, location, what you’re seeing)
• 🧊 If you still have hail, take a photo of it next to a tape measure or coin
• 🏠 Check gutters, downspouts, siding, screens, and around your home for visible damage
• 📸 Take a few wide + close-up photos of anything that looks off
A lot of roof damage can’t be seen from the ground, but this helps document things early if you need it.
