🌱 Why You Shouldn’t Water Your Lawn in the Middle of the Day

We know it can be tempting to turn on the sprinklers when your lawn starts looking dry, but midday watering isn’t the most effective way to keep your grass healthy.

☀️ Here’s why:
• High temperatures cause water to evaporate quickly before it reaches the roots.
• Strong sunlight can reduce how much moisture actually makes it into the soil.
• Water sitting on grass during the hottest part of the day can contribute to lawn stress and certain fungal issues.
• You’ll often need more water to get the same results.

💧 The best time to water: Early morning, when temperatures are cooler and winds are typically lighter. This allows the water to soak deeply into the soil and reach the root system before the heat of the day.

A healthy lawn starts with proper watering, mowing, and maintenance. 🌿

Need help keeping your lawn looking its best? Give Still Creek Property Solutions LLC a call! We’re here to help keep your property looking great all season long.
