Clauger recently implemented several innovative and unique solutions for an ice rink owner.

The Clauger solutions have contributed to both cost savings and environmental responsibility. Our pioneering solution is tailored to enhance efficiency and optimize energy usage. Key components of this project were:

1. Designed an industrial system to insure future operational stability while adapting to all ice rink activities.
2. Applied multi-temperature heat recovery for snow melt, resurfacing water, shower and swimming pool to reduce energy consumption.
3. Utilized low charge NH3 to reduce the Ice Rinks’ environmental impact.
4. Installed custom fabricated equipment produced in our manufacturing facility.
5. Implemented a complete modernization of the existing HVAC air handling units.

Optimizing the heat recovery process for your Ice Rink is the greatest energy-saving measure operators can take. When an ice rink has a well-designed heat recovery system, it could often be self-sufficient on its own heat.

Clauger attended the Auburn University Career Fair and connected with nearly 100 Students in pursuit of their Engineering and Advanced Degrees. What made this event special was Nicholas (Nick) Johnston, who himself is an Auburn graduate and Clauger employee. Nick attended the same event as a student in 2022 and was excited to represent Clauger at his alma mater reconnecting with friends and classmates.
