Happy Labor Day Weekend, McCloud!

It looks like Mother Nature decided to give us a little taste of fall just in time for the long weekend! 🍂

We’ve had some much-needed rain lately, with 1.45 inches on Wednesday and another 0.05 inches over the past 24 hours. And if you’ve looked toward the mountain, you’ve probably noticed its beautiful new blanket of snow! ❄️ The mountain is certainly showing off as we head into the holiday weekend!

🇺🇸 HOLIDAY REMINDER 🇺🇸

Our MCSD office will be closed Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.

🗑️ Trash service will be picked up on Tuesday, September 8, this week. Please plan accordingly!

There’s no shortage of ways to enjoy the long weekend right here in our neck of the woods! Whether you’re heading over to Mt. Shasta for Thunder on the Mountain on Saturday, checking out the Blackberry Music Festival on Sunday, getting outside to enjoy the cooler weather and beautiful mountain scenery, or simply spending a quiet weekend with family and friends, we hope you find a little time to relax and enjoy the beauty of our community.

🚨 Emergency Water Service Notice 🚨

Due to an emergency water leak, water service has temporarily been shut off on Oak Street, Hennessy Street, and Hill Street.

Our crews are currently working to locate and repair the leak. We will restore water service as soon as possible and appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to resolve this issue.

We will provide updates as more information becomes available.
