Solid Walnut with walnut bookmatched top and side accents.
I used solid mahogany for the drawers with heavy duty soft close ball bearing slides. This would be a beautiful accent piece or a nice addition for an office or any living area. Built to last a lifetime!!

Retail $5200.00 Approximately 80 board feet of solid walnut. 46 hrs of labor. Hand carved body with beautiful live edge slabs on the top and bottom. Would be perfect as a couch table, side board or just a stand alone piece. Sure to be a conversation piece wherever you put it. And not only that.. it has a video of the build process. (That’s pretty cool huh?) It’s 30” tall 15” deep and just over 6’ long and guaranteed to be the only one exactly like it in the world.

Approximately 80 board feet of Honduran Mahogany (Which is an endangered species)
43 hours of labor. This Mahogany is special. You literally can’t buy this stuff anywhere. The top is over 16” wide 2.5” thick and 5’ long. It’s a one piece single slab!! Very rare! The rest is also solid mahogany. The trunk was hand carved in Here in the shop! It would be a beautiful sofa table, sideboard or stand alone piece. There is not another piece of this quality materials in the world!!

As a woodworker.. before you can even begin to start the build process.. you have to mill up your lumber (If you are starting with rough cut)
We have been commissioned to build a cherry kitchen, so I thought I’d give a very quick overview of the 2-3 day milling process that has to be done before anything else can happen.
-Cut to length
-Rip to width on the table saw
(Doing the first two makes the next two steps easier, that’s what she said)
-get a flat face and edge on the joiner
-Plane to thickness on the planer
