The first sign of spring is here 🌸🌿 — and it’s hellebore season!
When the rest of the garden is still waking up, these beauties are already putting on a show. Often called the Lenten Rose, hellebores bloom boldly through the chill, bringing soft creams, blush pinks, moody plums, and rich greens to shady spaces.
As a landscape designer, I love tucking hellebores into woodland borders, entry gardens, and foundation plantings for that early-season magic. They’re hardy, deer-resistant, and effortlessly elegant — a true reminder that brighter days are ahead.
