Happy First Day of School from Henkel Construction Company!

We were excited to stop by Hillside Elementary this morning with some fuel for their day and to see the staff enjoying the newly renovated spaces. Over the summer, our team completed upgrades to the flooring, ceilings, lighting, casework, and paint, helping create bright, welcoming environments that support learning and collaboration.

As a new school year begins, we're sending our best wishes to students, teachers, administrators, and staff across all school districts!

Welcome home, Phi Gamma Delta!

Henkel Construction Company was thrilled to see Iowa State University students return to a space that has been completely reimagined. The project included a full interior gut renovation along with a large addition, transforming the chapter house into a home designed for generations of members to come.

We're honored to have helped create a place where the FIJI members can live, learn, and make memories.

Happy Throwback Thursday!

25 years ago, Henkel Construction Company completed The Music Man Square, creating one of Mason City's most beloved destinations.

The 40,000-square-foot facility includes the Meredith Willson museum, reunion hall, a music conservatory, and the iconic 1912 River City indoor streetscape. Designed to recreate the set of the 1962 Warner Bros. film, the streetscape features detailed facades, brick sidewalks, and wooden block streets.

Today, visitors can dance through the indoor streetscape, discover the life of Mason City's favorite musical son, and see the iconic 76 trombones hanging from the ceiling.

We're proud to be part of another exciting chapter in Mason City's growth!

Henkel Construction Company is currently building a new four-story, wood-framed Home2 Suites by Hilton in the Riverwalk District as part of the River City Renaissance project. Designed to help revitalize downtown Mason City, the extended-stay hotel will feature 94 guest rooms, a two-story lobby, a fitness center, an indoor swimming pool, and surface parking.

The hotel will also connect to The Music Man Square via a skywalk, creating a meaningful link between two projects Henkel has helped bring to life nearly 25 years apart.

We're excited to watch this project take shape and look forward to its impact on Mason City's future.

Henkel Construction Company was proud to join the City of Urbandale, Iowa and community members for the ribbon-cutting of the new City Campus Shelter at Martin Field.

This new facility replaces a decades-old shelter that had begun to deteriorate and now provides a welcoming space for community gatherings and events near Walker Johnston Park. Henkel Construction was honored to help bring this project to life and create a community asset that will serve residents for years to come.

With football season just around the corner, we're spotlighting a beautiful space where the Iowa State community comes together before kickoff.

Henkel Construction proudly built the ISU Jack Trice Green Space, home to the Lily Pavilion, a striking art installation that serves as a unique gathering place for students, alumni, and fans. Constructed with stainless steel, concrete, and glass elements, the pavilion anchors the open lawn as a shaded destination for tailgating, campus events, and community gatherings year-round.
