Seeking Commercial Electrician/Journeyman:
Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial Electrician to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of commercial construction sites and renovation projects.
Your duties will be to ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and industry regulations, while contributing to the successful completion of projects on time and within scope.
Duties
Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including; lighting, power distribution, low voltage systems, and high voltage circuits.
Read/interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to execute electrical installations.
Conduct inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards.
Maintain detailed records of work performed.
Experience
Proven experience as a commercial electrician.
Hands-on experience working on construction sites with knowledge of blueprint reading.
Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems, including NEC compliance requirements.
Construction site experience involving renovation projects or new builds is essential.
problem solving and communication skills will be considered an asset.
Electrical trade school and license preferred.
