John recently attended a 2-day training course presented by Kansas State University. Adult educators, Bruce Snead, Chad Robinson, and Josh Kerber, taught their Advanced Diagnostics and Optimal Mitigation class. The class was held in the newly constructed T•E•C Conservatory for Building Diagnostics Training Center in Oakdale, MN.
The lessons they taught were a combination of many decades of expertise and study in the area of radon mitigation systems. The knowledge they shared with the class empower is us to be very effective and extremely successful at installing mitigation systems that not only meet the need of safety, but also exceed expectations in efficiency.
Let’s face it, it doesn’t take much to poke a hole in the concrete and install some parts and see what happens. Many companies have been doing that for years. Being a craftsman of the discipline of soil, gas mitigation is a whole different ball game. It involves taking measurements, forming hypothesis, and carrying out a battery of diagnostic tests in order to ensure the Radon in your home is safely exhausted without exhausting an excess amount of the air you already paid to condition.
