Four trays of "wild" dill going in the dehydrator. My house might smell like a big pickle, but it is totally worth it!

You'll never know what you'll find if you never look!

Not one, but TWO creepy crawlies "new to me" tonight! First I spotted a tomato hornworm πŸ› covered with parasitic wasps. I've always heard this is a good thing for the garden, but have never seen it with my own eyes.

Then I found a freaky looking dragonfly. It's actually called a Saddlebag Glider. How cool does that look? 🀩

Usually willing to try new recipes.

Quick pickled cherry tomatoes.

Pickled garlic (6 half pints dill, 1 spicy).

Tomatoes were canned on 8/27; we tried them 5 days later. Not bad, but I think they should sit a little longer in the fridge.

Garlic was done on the 30th. Needs to sit at least 4 weeks before trying.
