Fall is officially less than a month away… but here in Texas, that doesn’t necessarily mean much. 🍂😂

The calendar may say fall starts September 22, but Texas weather usually has other plans. While the rest of the country starts thinking about sweaters, pumpkin patches, and cool mornings, we’ll probably still be debating whether 94 degrees counts as a cold front.

Texas fall is less of a season and more of a rumor.

Eventually the cooler weather will get here. We just may have to survive a few more weeks of summer pretending it didn’t get the memo.

As of today, Harrison County, including the City of Marshall, will be under a Burn Ban. Harrison County's initial Burn Ban order will be an emergency 7 day Burn Ban, however that WILL BE EXTENDED to a 90 day Burn Ban during next Thursday Commissioner’s Court hearing. That ban will be in effect until further notice.
