Great Opportunity for Pennsylvania Landowners!

The Pennsylvania Invasive Replace-ive Program is back for 2026! If you remove an invasive tree or shrub from your property, you can receive up to 3 free native replacement plants at one of several events happening across the state this May.

How to participate:
• Remove an invasive plant from your property
• Take a photo of the removed plant (2025–2026
photos accepted)
• Register starting March 31
• Attend a May event to pick up your native plants

Some qualifying invasives include Bradford pear, Tree-of-heaven, Norway maple, Japanese barberry, burning bush, and butterfly bush.

Local event: May 16 at Buffalo Creek Nature Park (Sarver)

Programs like this help restore healthier landscapes across Pennsylvania. If you have questions about invasive plants on your property, our team at Appalachian Land Management is always happy to help.

Registration opens March 31:

Mother Nature can’t decide if it’s winter or spring… so we’re staying prepared!

If you’re still having those “maybe we should have a fire tonight” moments, we’ve got bagged firewood ready to grab.

Swing by and pick some up — pay on site (cash or Venmo).

Kicking off the 2026 season with our first company outing! The crew had a great time getting together at Three Rivers Entertainment Park before the busy season gets underway.

Looking forward to a great year ahead.

Our forestry season is getting underway and we’re excited to be back doing the work outside.

Our focus has always been on creating sustainable environments where native plants and wildlife can thrive. Through forest restoration and management, we work to improve and maintain woodlands so they remain healthy, high-quality tracts of land that can be enjoyed for years to come.

Last Tuesday we were inside learning and getting educated at the Penn Stater. This week, we’re back where we belong — out in nature.

Committed to learning. Committed to growing. Committed to serving you better.
We’re attending an upcoming conference to continue our education — will we see you there?

It’s a great time for communities across Pennsylvania to review and apply for the PA Community Tree Assistance Program. Eligible municipalities and nonprofits can receive professional help with tree planting, pruning, planning, and safety work in public spaces.

If your community manages parks, street trees, or other public green spaces, this is an opportunity worth exploring.
