Another milestone for Lakenen Crane & Rigging Service.

Earlier this year, LCRS had the opportunity to provide tower crane services for the Northern Michigan University student housing project in Marquette.

This project marked the first deployment of a self-erecting tower crane in Marquette, Michigan—bringing a different approach to material handling and construction logistics to the Upper Peninsula.

From coordinating mobilization and er****on through months of operation in a U.P. winter, our team was proud to help keep this project moving safely and efficiently.

Projects like this demonstrate what we continue working toward at Lakenen Crane & Rigging Service: bringing more capability, more specialized equipment, and more complete hoisting solutions to contractors throughout the Upper Peninsula and beyond.

We appreciate everyone involved in making this project a success and the trust placed in LCRS to get the job done.

🇺🇸 Happy 250th Birthday to the greatest experiment in self-government, individual liberty, and free enterprise the world has ever known—the United States of America.

For two and a half centuries, this nation has proven that when people are free to dream, build, innovate, and work hard, extraordinary things happen. While we’re far from perfect, the freedoms protected by this country have created opportunities unlike anywhere else on Earth.

At Lakenen Crane & Rigging Service, we are incredibly grateful to call America home. The ability to forge our own path, take risks, build a business from the ground up, create good-paying jobs, invest in our community, and serve an amazing group of clients is only possible because of the freedoms and opportunities this nation provides.

We don’t take that privilege for granted.

A few days late to the party celebrating Lakenen Crane And Rigging’s 8th birthday—but we’ve been busy doing what we do best.

Eight years ago, Lakenen Crane & Rigging Service was built on a simple foundation: work hard, do what you say you’re going to do, take care of your clients, and never compromise on safety. What started as a vision has grown into a company we’re incredibly proud of, serving clients throughout the Upper Peninsula and beyond.

This milestone belongs to far more people than just us. It takes a tremendous team effort to deliver the safe, efficient, and reliable service our clients have come to expect. We are fortunate to be surrounded by some of the best people in the industry.
