Throwback Thursday - Ore Dock Brewing Co.🍺⚡

A year ago, we mounted 66 ZnShine 450W panels on the roof of Ore Dock Brewing Co. in downtown Marquette. They have a 29.7kW grid-tied system that's been quietly doing its job ever since.

Even though this was installed last year, the savings are happening right now. Every pint poured downtown today is brewed a little cheaper because of what's up on that roof, working right now, not just the day we installed it.

This off-grid project is still one we love to talk about ☀️🌊

Every job comes with its own unique set of challenges, but this one came with a first for our crew: using a pontoon to haul our material to the build site. Definitely not your average install day.

The system included:

✅ 6 Jinko Eagle 525W bifacial panels

One of our current commercial projects is underway in West Branch, MI, at Griffin Beverage Company☀

Our crew has been working hard to install a 375 kWdc, 750-module array on just under 1.5 acres of land. This massive system will be a major help in offsetting Michigan’s rising utility rates. Estimated to produce 500,000 kWh annually, the installation is forecasted to pay for itself in about seven years. After that, the system is projected to generate long-term annual savings.💰

Beyond the savings, this project gives Griffin Beverage Company greater energy stability, more predictable monthly utility bills, and protection against rising operating costs, helping them keep more money inside the business instead of sending it to the utility.

Griffin is investing in their future, and we’re glad to be a part of the process.

Our friends in Leelanau County just got a 20.28kW solar project installed on their beautiful new build!🏡

To maximize sun coverage from sunrise to sunset, we split 42 panels across two different locations on the property:

⚡On the roof: 13.2kW array
⚡On the ground: 7.1kW array

We paired everything with two Fronius Primo GEN24 7.7 inverters to tie the whole system together seamlessly.
