Please help us congratulate Blake, our August Employee of the Month! 👏🏼

Blake says one of his favorite things about Mitten Concrete is that it’s “one big family that can have fun with each other and still get work done.” We love that!

Outside of work, Blake enjoys hunting with his buddies. He also has a few unique talents, including balancing things on his chin… even a shovel! 😂

We appreciate everything you bring to the Mitten Concrete team, Blake. Congratulations! 🎉

🎉 Employee of the Month July! 🎉

We’re excited to be recognizing Jorge for his positive attitude and the energy he brings to the team every day!

Jorge says his favorite part of working at Mitten Concrete is coming in early, getting the forms set up, and sharing a few laughs with the crew before the day gets rolling. He knows that a strong start and a good sense of humor can make all the difference.

When it comes to job site fuel, you can usually count on Jorge having a White Monster and some peanut butter cookies close by to keep him going.

Outside of work, Jorge stays active by watching soccer and playing with his friends whenever he gets the chance.⚽️🥅

Thank you, Jorge, for your hard work, dedication, and the positivity you bring to the team. We’re grateful to have you as part of the Mitten Concrete family. Congratulations on being our Employee of the Month! 👏🏽

🎉May Employee of the Month 🎉

We’re excited to recognize Wayne VanMiddelkoop as our Employee of the Month!

Wayne has been a valued member of the Mitten Concrete team since September 2020. His strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to learning continue to make him an important part of our crew

When asked about his favorite projects this year, Wayne mentioned the Laser Dynamics pad and Breton projects because they gave him the opportunity to spend more time learning and improving his power trowel skills.

Wayne’s advice to new employees: “Don’t be afraid to ask questions or ask for help. Everyone is learning.”

Outside of work, Wayne is looking forward to marrying his fiancée, Zoey, in August and tackling more projects at home. 💍

Wayne, thank you for the pride you take in your work and the positive attitude you bring to the crew every day. Congratulations on being Employee of the Month!✨

🎉Employee of the Month🎉 Austin

We're excited to recognize Austin as Aprils Employee of the Month at Mitten Concrete!

Austin joined the team this season and has already made a big impact with his strong work ethic, dependable attitude, and Willingness to jump in wherever needed. His coworkers describe him as hardworking, reliable, and easy to get along with and we couldn't agree more.

One of Austin's favorite things about working at Mitten Concrete is the team atmosphere and the way everyone works together to get the job done right. That kind of attitude helps build a company we're proud of every day.

Outside of work, Austin enjoys spending Michigan summers by the pool and making memories with family. He's also a big fan of burgers, fries, and tacos for lunch.🍔🌮

Austin is a proud husband and dad and we're thankful to have him as part of the Mitten Concrete family.

Congratulations, Austin, and thank you for all your hard work!👏🏽🚧

Here at Mitten Concrete, leadership doesn't just happen behind a desk. Most days, you'll find the owners right out in the field working alongside the crew, making sure every job is done right from start to finish.

That kind of hands-on leadership says a lot about who they are; hardworking, dependable, and committed to both their team and their customers.

They lead by example, take pride in the work, and have built a company centered around quality, respect, and teamwork.

Great owners create great crews, and
we're thankful to have leaders who are willing to put in the work right beside the crews every day. 👊🏽🚧

Grateful for Dave & Dean! 🙌🏽
