We’re excited to recognize Wayne VanMiddelkoop as our Employee of the Month!

Wayne has been a valued member of the Mitten Concrete team since September 2020. His strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to learning continue to make him an important part of our crew

When asked about his favorite projects this year, Wayne mentioned the Laser Dynamics pad and Breton projects because they gave him the opportunity to spend more time learning and improving his power trowel skills.

Wayne’s advice to new employees: “Don’t be afraid to ask questions or ask for help. Everyone is learning.”

Outside of work, Wayne is looking forward to marrying his fiancée, Zoey, in August and tackling more projects at home. 💍

We're excited to recognize Austin as Aprils Employee of the Month at Mitten Concrete!

Austin joined the team this season and has already made a big impact with his strong work ethic, dependable attitude, and Willingness to jump in wherever needed. His coworkers describe him as hardworking, reliable, and easy to get along with and we couldn't agree more.

One of Austin's favorite things about working at Mitten Concrete is the team atmosphere and the way everyone works together to get the job done right. That kind of attitude helps build a company we're proud of every day.

Outside of work, Austin enjoys spending Michigan summers by the pool and making memories with family. He's also a big fan of burgers, fries, and tacos for lunch.🍔🌮

Austin is a proud husband and dad and we're thankful to have him as part of the Mitten Concrete family.

That kind of hands-on leadership says a lot about who they are; hardworking, dependable, and committed to both their team and their customers.

Join us in congratulating Colin Case on being named our March Employee of the Month! 👏🏽

Colin is a valuable part of our team and truly enjoys working alongside a group of hardworking people. He says one of his favorite parts of the job is the strong crew environment… and the bosses buying food every now and then doesn’t hurt either.😉

When he’s not on the job, you can find Colin spending time with friends, always looking to try something new, and keeping it classic with a beef stick as his go-to gas station snack.

He’s looking forward to warmer, sunny days ahead and continuing to learn new skills on the job.
