Cool old floor we refinished this week just down the road from me. Some of it is the original floors from the 1800s, some is reclaimed barn wood. The homeowner didn't want the nail holes or cracks filled to keep it as original as possible. I think it turned out great.

We just wrapped up another wide plank white oak floor for Buck Custom Homes in Ocean City NJ.
8" rift and quarter sawn white oak plank flooring sanded and finished Natural with Bona Traffic HD finish in a satin sheen. With some herringbone and a custom floor medallion in the foyer.

A recent job we did featuring 10" rift and quartersawn white oak plank flooring with a natural finish.

Old house, new floors, In Ocean City nj. New 4" by 3/4" solid character grade rift and quartersawn red oak, sanded, stained and sealed with dura seal weathered oak, and finished with 3 coats of a commercial satin finish from Bona.

Some before and after pictures of a recent floor we refinished. This was a prefinished Bruce solid red oak strip floor we refinished, stained, espresso, and finished with 3 coats of a commercial waterbased finish in a satin sheen. We also added some wood floor registers and added oak stair treads and new flooring in the hall.

Prime example of the value you get with real wood floors. 24 years ago I refinished these white oak floors when the current owners first bought this home. The house was built some time in the 1940s. They recently did some remodeling and we added more flooring to the kitchen and we sanded and refinished the floors again. These floors still have at least 3 refinishings left in them! Maybe my grandchildren will sand them some day!
Real wood floors will last the lifetime of your home!
