Stradt Homes My goal at Stradt Homes is to provide you with an above quality home We focus on new construction and developments of single family homes.

I'm fully licensed and insured. My Iowa license number is: C114349. One of the defining differences I have over other builders / general contractors in the area is that I actually worked in every construction trade prior to opening Stradt Homes in 2009 here in Cedar Rapids Iowa. The Stradt family has been developing neighborhoods and building homes since 1957 in eastern Iowa, and I'm proud to continue that tradition.

Well finally finished up last week. New family moved in. Almost 30 years since someone has lived in this home. The balance between trying to keep some of the older parts to making it new and more functional to today.

Getting very close to the reveal on this one. 2 years in the making. Less than 2 weeks left to move in for the next family. House hasn't seen occupants in almost 30 years. She'll never be perfect but she's sharpening up nicely and under budget.

Haven't posted on this one in awhile. Heading towards completion. What makes this stage hard is trimming onto masonry walls even interior walls. Totally different construction. But we figured out a system that works.

Searching for another Trim Carpenter. Have a job out of town that is ready. Is an older house situation we've taken to new, but does still have a few differences than a new construction. Know anyone have them reach out.
