NOAA is forecasting a potentially historic El Niño for 2026–27, with a 69% chance of reaching a strength not observed since records began in 1950.

That doesn’t guarantee record rainfall—but it does make this a good time to find exterior vulnerabilities before the first major storm does.

A visual inspection can help identify:
