We are a wholly owned subsidiary of RAISE Global Services, LLC. RAISE Global Services was founded by Carol McKown in 2010. For three years, Carol has been diligently developing her vision and programs to begin a movement in which corporations play an integral part in making a social impact in our world. At RAISE, we believe the only way to solve real environmental and humanitarian problems is for
corporations to take responsibility in being part of the solution. Carol and the RAISE team noticed the need for a socially responsible energy brand that had a purpose higher than just selling light bulbs. We know that environmental issues play, and will continue to play, a huge part in our futures. We created RAISE Energy Solutions to be a brand rooted in social impact that educates people about their power usage, energy saving, and the newest technologies. In early 2013, Carol met Tom VanZeeland, a passionate energy and technology czar that has spent the better part of his career becoming an expert in renewable resources. Tom joined the RAISE team as Chief Technology Officer to handle all creation of new products as well as all technical aspects of sales and marketing. Tom has spent the last five years searching the globe for the most cutting-edge energy efficient LED, hydrogen, and solar technologies. Tom has carefully vetted all manufacturers and personally inspected their factories to ensure clean operations and ethical work conditions. Our main goal is not only to educate, but also to provide turnkey solutions. Many people think of replacing old technologies as being expensive and unrealistic, but we are changing that. By being a direct OEM, we are offering our DLC and Energy Star certified best-in-class products at the lowest prices on the market. As mentioned earlier, the purpose of RAISE Energy Solutions is much bigger than selling light bulbs. We are socially responsible at our core and conduct our business practices as such based on our strong mission and values. In addition, we contribute a percentage of profits to fund energy projects for those in need. In some parts of the world, people don’t have electricity to keep their lights on, to cook for their families, or to study for school. Some families are even using kerosene lamps as their main source of energy. This is not only expensive, but also extremely dangerous. Reliable electricity and lighting is something many of us take for granted every day. At RAISE Energy Solutions we want to help those who don’t have it.
