September: A Month of Remembrance, Honor & Gratitude!
September gives us several important opportunities to pause, remember, and honor the men and women who have served our country, those who continue to serve, and the families who sacrifice alongside them.
September 11 — Patriot Day & 9/11 Remembrance
We remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the first responders who courageously ran toward danger to help others. We also remember the military members who answered the call to defend our nation in the years that followed.
We will never forget the bravery, sacrifice, and service shown that day and in the days, months, and years that followed.
September 18 — National POW/MIA Recognition Day
We honor those who were prisoners of war and those who remain missing in action. They are not forgotten, and neither are the families who continue to wait for answers.
September 18 — U.S. Air Force Birthday
We proudly celebrate the birthday of the United States Air Force and recognize the Airmen, veterans, and families who have dedicated themselves to protecting our nation and defending our freedom.
September 27 — Gold Star Mother's Day
We honor the mothers and families who have lost a loved one in military service to our country. Their sacrifice, strength, and courage will never be forgotten.
This September, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all members of our military community — past and present — and to the first responders who serve and protect our communities every day!
We are especially proud to recognize and thank the veterans and active-duty service members who are part of our own team. Your service, sacrifice, and dedication mean more than words can express.
To everyone who has worn the uniform, answered the call, served on the front lines, responded in a moment of crisis, supported a service member, or made the ultimate sacrifice, thank you for your service. We remember. We honor. We are grateful.
