Blount Construction Company was established in the late 1940's by Mr. Blount has been serving its client base in the metro Atlanta, ever since, specializing in services such as Paving, Grading, Site Utilities, Stream Restoration, Utility Locating, Surveying, Full Depth Reclamation, Soil Stabilization and has recently added a new service of HA5, a pavement preservation solution.

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Doug Myers 🌟

We’re proud to recognize Doug Myers, General Superintendent for the FDR/Mixing Division, for an incredible 35-year journey with Blount Construction.

Doug’s story is one of true dedication starting out on a shovel and working his way up to General Superintendent through hard work, commitment, and leadership. Over the years, he has played a vital role in FDR and soil stabilization operations.

Doug is also only one of a couple employees remaining to have had the unique opportunity to have worked for George C. Blount. His passing in 1997 launched Blount Construction into 100% employee ownership as an ESOP.
That connection fuels Doug’s commitment to carrying that legacy forward every day. Having seen not only what an ownership stake in the company has done for him but also those before him, Doug’s message to the younger employees is treat your job as if your name is on the door. Because in many ways it is!
