One of our customers had fescue sod installed in March. The installation itself was actually done very well. You just can’t expect 3 month old fescue sod to survive the Georgia heat! Well, no one wants to pay for sod twice, especially in one season, so we revitalized his turf with a microbial engineered compost (Comand) and overseeding.

No harm (mostly 😄), no foul!

This customer struggled to keep a back yard they loved due to shade and poor soil, so we gave them the full treatment and killed off the existing lawn, removed old turf, added topsoil and installed 7 pallets of farm fresh Zorro Zoysia.

We see it all the time--back yard left by the builder with 20 ft of sod and a few bales of pinestraw, full of roots, rocks, and debris. When trees grow taller and shade creeps in, the bermuda thins out and before you know it, you don't even want to go back there and mow it, let alone run around with the kiddos. This homeowner wanted to reclaim some wasted space and convert to a more shade tolerate grass type so they could enjoy the back yard more and we delivered!

We buried the downspouts to prevent erosion from continuing to strip away his soil and cleared the stripped/rocky soil and debris. We added a base of topsoil for better root development, then fine graded with sod dressing before installing some beautiful, farm fresh Zorro Zoysia. A whole new back yard done in less than a week and ready to enjoy!

This install was a disaster...but not OUR disaster.

This customer reached out to us having just installed synthetic turf in their back yard and it was already failing 3 weeks later! The original contractor installed turf on a solid base of compacted granite sand 12" deep! Near zero drainage and the turf was on a fast path to failure.

We removed the poor base prep, replaced it with the proper layers of aggregate for drainage and replaced the turf to give the customer the install they needed. Don't pay twice for the work, do it right the first time!
