This sweet bride chose to preserve her wedding flowers in a set of three pressed floral artworks—an 18x20, 11x14, and 8x8.

I absolutely LOVE creating sets like this! Each piece is unique, but together they tell one beautiful, cohesive story.

Because that’s what I love most about flowers. They tell a story. A story of love, of a special day, of the people who were there, and of all the little moments worth remembering.

And now that story gets to live on in more than one place.

A little something new is blooming!

My very first original pressed floral designs are officially for sale at Gather & Bloom in downtown Woodstock!

After spending so much of my time preserving flowers that already hold someone else’s story, I’ve been craving the chance to simply play—to sit down with petals, color, shape, and texture and see where they take me.

No bouquet to recreate. No rules to follow. Just flowers, creativity, and a little bit of magic.

These are the first of what I hope will be many original pieces, and I’m so excited to keep experimenting with petals and seeing what I can create.

A little peek behind the curtain

There’s something so satisfying about this part of the process—watching months of pressing, preserving, designing, and tiny adjustments finally come together as I frame up a finished piece.

Tomorrow, she’ll get her final photographs, be carefully packaged up, and head off to her forever home.

Soon, these flowers will be hanging on a wall, cherished for years to come—a little piece of one very special day, preserved forever.

This is always the moment when it starts to feel real. From bouquet in hand → pressed petal by pressed petal → forever artwork.

Flowers tell a love story, and I feel so lucky to help preserve it.

Break, and it feels so good to be surrounded by flowers again.

This beautiful bridal bouquet called for something a little different. I designed the pressing vertically, inspired by the gorgeous tree the couple was married in front of.

I love when the design of a preservation can tell more of the story—not just showcasing the flowers, but reflecting a little piece of the wedding day itself.

When all the flowers are the right choice.

I loved this bouquet because it had a little bit of everything — every texture, color, shape, style, and form coming together to make something completely unique.

One of my favorite parts of pressing flowers isn’t just preserving the blooms—it’s getting to know the people behind them.

I had the sweetest opportunity to meet my client who order this commission because she joined me for a pressing workshop. Flowers are so incredibly personal, and hearing the stories behind them makes what I do feel even more special.

I’m so grateful she trusted me with her flowers, shared a little piece of her story, and gave me the chance to create something meaningful alongside her.
