History

Established in 1951. While working as an electrical draftsman for General Electric Company, a young Harold Macomber

started this electrician business on the corner of Washington and Darling Streets in Marblehead. In 1959 the business expanded to 6 School Street where an appliance store was opened and technicians were available to repair appliances. Macomber later included custom kitchen cabinetry to modernize the family kitchen. When the Village Plaza Shopping Center was built, Macomber promptly relocated there and stayed through 1977. The Macomber family has continued to provide trusted electricial services for over 60 years, and three family generations.
