"What's the secret to a long-lasting paint job?"

The answer isn't exciting.

It's prep.

Not the paint.
Not the color.
Not the brush.

Prep.

The scraping, sanding, caulking, patching, cleaning, and all the stuff nobody notices when it's done right.

Kind of like referees. If people are talking about it afterward, something probably went wrong. 😆

That's why we spend so much time on the things nobody sees.

Worked the IREM Golf Classic last week with my favorite co-worker. Delaney carried the operation while I mostly rode around, talked too much, and acted like I was helping.

Great event, great people, and always nice supporting organizations and relationships that mean a lot to Beckner!

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Their courage gave us the freedoms we are privileged to enjoy every day. As we spend time with family and friends this weekend, let’s also take a moment to reflect on those who gave everything—and the families who continue to carry their legacy.

From all of us at Beckner Painting & Contracting, we remember and honor our fallen heroes.

While I had the honor of walking up on stage to accept the 2026 Supplier Partner of the Year award at the SLAA Rising Star Awards, this recognition belongs entirely to our incredible Beckner team. They’re the ones showing up every day, putting in the hard work, taking care of customers, and making it all happen. 🙌

A huge thank you to our entire crew for your dedication, and to the St. Louis Apartment Association and our amazing clients for trusting us and making this possible.

And yes… we proved we can clean up pretty well when we trade paint-splattered clothes for real jackets. 🏢✨

Another day, another full community transformation 🎯

We’re moving along on a large condo association repaint, and this is where the right crew makes all the difference. Multiple buildings, tight coordination, and keeping everything clean and consistent from start to finish.
