Good morning everyone, this is Diana Allen, Royce's wife. I just wanted to let all of our past clients know that Royce passed away 6 months ago, on May 1st. He was at home with me in Mapleton, Utah. We were married 41 years & 9 months, have a son, daughter, son-in-law, and 2 granddaughters ages 3 & 1. Our family is completely devastated & I am so lost without him, he was only 59 years old. Royce was diagnosed with an extremely rare cancer called adenoid cystic carcinoma when he was 37 in 2000. This cancer took so much from us over the last 22 years, he lost his left lower jawbone in 2000, lost his left upper lung & almost his life in 2018, and now it has taken Royce from us all. The cancer came back again last June in both his lungs & his brain, he could no longer work & became disabled. Not being able to build cabinets was really hard for him, he loved woodworking, that's what he did for 43 years, since he was 16. Royce has been through many treatments, surgeries, chemo, radiation, medications, etc over the years but he never once complained about any of it, that's just how he was. Royce always said his purpose in life was to serve his family & friends, and he did that every day. Royce's work can be seen all over Kings, Tulare, & Fresno counties and that made him very happy. Wherever he went in Hanford, Royce knew somebody. We, his family, would like to have a celebration of life in Hanford, where Royce grew up, where we raised our family, where our business was, & in our home church Koinonia Christian Fellowship. I have moved to Texas to be closer to our daughter & her family and our son lives in Wisconsin. It is going to be hard for us financially to get us all back to Calif, so if anyone would like to make a donation to help us I will leave my address, Diana Allen,
105 Jackson St., Arp, TX 75750. To know Royce was to love Royce & we all love him dearly & miss him so very much, he was the rock of our family. Thank you!
