It’s time to harvest in many areas! Wishing everyone a safe harvest and good yields! 🌽🫛🥔🫜

Leave them alone and let them roam. 🐾🐾🐾We’ve spotted them here. We’ve also had multiple bobcats in our area between the shop and our farm. Beautiful creatures!!! Nicoele found paw prints the size of her hand in the produce field several times- last year with small prints following along with them, meaning a female and her cubs were passing through. 🐈 They have never threatened our livestock either. Always just migrating through the area.

A mountain lion is on the move through southwestern Illinois, according to the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, which confirmed multiple sightings.

The University of Illinois Extension warns to leave it alone and let it roam. Experts say big predators like mountain lions, black bears, and wolves are rare but not unheard of in Illinois. Individual large predators have regularly reappeared over the past few decades, crossing from other states, with many sightings resulting from an increased use of trail cameras.

☀️ Meet the Founders of Ag Energy Company: Bill and Nicoele Belluso

Ag Energy Company was built from a shared vision: to provide practical, dependable energy solutions that support farmers, businesses, and rural communities- ethically.

As Founder, Bill leads the company with an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to helping customers find energy solutions designed around their individual operations and long-term goals. With his education in Renewable Energy, and his background of ten years in the Solar industry and 12 years in farming; Bill saw an opportunity to bring the two industries together to launch a renewed outlook on energy helping farms and businesses boost their financial future.

As co-Founder, Nicoele joined Bill to bring more than 25 years of hands-on experience as a specialty-crop and livestock farmer. Her agricultural background gives our team a firsthand understanding of the challenges producers face—and why farmland, productivity, and the future of agriculture must remain part of the energy conversation.

Together, Bill and Nicoele are building a company centered on relationships, integrity, innovation, and solutions that make sense for the people and communities they serve. That vision also includes expanding Ag Energy Company’s work in agrivoltaics, where solar energy and agriculture can work together through specialty-crop production, sheep and cattle grazing, and pollinator habitat.

For Bill and Nicoele, Ag Energy Company is more than a business. It is an opportunity to help customers become more energy independent while supporting the future of agriculture. It's also an opportunity to help our team members build their personal, professional, and financial goals.

Fun facts about Bill and Nicoele- When they're not busy building the business- together, you may find them at a local golf course smacking balls around, volunteering somewhere in the community, or having Sunday family dinners after church at their farm or at their moms' houses with their five kids. Bill also enjoys planning his dream project (top secret😎😜) and Nicoele enjoys growing ALL of the heirloom tomatoes and ordering "too many" veggie seeds from seed catalogs🌱.

We’re proud of how far we’ve come—and even more excited about what lies ahead.

Thank you to our customers, partners, dealers, employees, and community for being part of our journey. Drop us a line to tell us what you would like to know about our company or our founders!
