At Gorman-Rupp, we're grateful for the customers who put their trust in our products every day. Today, we're excited to recognize one of those loyal customers.

Edward McGillicuddy, a chemist at the City of Westminster Wastewater Treatment Plant, recently shared this photo with us, proudly displaying his Gorman-Rupp stickers on his guitar amp. We love seeing customers who are proud to represent the Gorman-Rupp name.

Moments like these remind us that we're more than just a pump manufacturer. We strive to be a company our customers can count on and are proud to support.

Big stations. Essential support.

Hercules measures 14 feet wide by 30 feet long by 8 feet tall and weighs approximately 35,000 pounds. Addie Road (featured in this video) is even larger at 14 feet wide by 44 feet long by 10 feet tall and approximately 70,000 pounds.

These giant stations will help upgrade Breezy Hill Water and Sewer Company’s water system, maintaining pressure for local residents and providing fire flow when needed for local industries.

Their size is impressive. Their purpose is essential: supporting the water needs of the community they serve.

Strong distributor partnerships go beyond providing great products—they’re built by sharing knowledge.

Recently, Chuck Keesee, Gorman-Rupp's District Manager for the territory visited DXP University in Richmond, California, to lead a hands-on training session featuring our glass-faced pump demonstration. The session gave the DXP team a closer look at how our pumps operate and an opportunity to ask questions directly.

It’s one example of how Gorman-Rupp works alongside our distributors to give their teams the knowledge and tools they need to confidently support their customers.

In 2018, C.J. McCann contacted Gorman-Rupp looking for information about a pump he had been using for years. After a little research, we discovered it was a Gorman-Rupp Model 1022H, built on January 10, 1955.

Nearly a decade later, C.J. reached out again—but this time with an update.

His pump is still in operation. After adding a fresh layer of clear coat to preserve its original patina and adding custom brass piping, the pump has become both a reliable piece of equipment and a piece of history.

In C.J.'s own words:

"It's the best working pump I've ever had."

Seeing products continue to perform more than 70 years after they were built is something we're incredibly proud of. Thank you, C.J., for sharing your story and here's to many more years of dependable pumping.
