Before you turn up the thermostat this weekend, take a few minutes to check these things around your home!

✅ Check your furnace filter and replace it if needed.
✅ Make sure supply and return vents aren't blocked by furniture or rugs.
✅ Check your thermostat settings and batteries, if applicable.
✅ Make sure smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are working.
✅ Pay attention to unusual furnace noises or heating problems.

Annual professional maintenance is also an important part of getting ready for heating season.
