Two teams from Kansas City recently volunteered with Habitat for Humanity on separate Saturdays, helping build safe, affordable housing in the community. By giving up part of their weekends to serve, the teams supported a project that will benefit local families for years to come. During MEI Total Elevator Solutions' annual Fall Fundraiser, employees had the opportunity to support causes that matter to them. One employee chose DonorsChoose, helping direct funds toward classroom projects that provide students and teachers with much-needed resources.

Months later, she's still seeing the impact firsthand through thank-you letters, classroom photos, and messages from the students and educators who benefited. Together, donations from employees, friends, family, business partners, and MEI's matching contributions helped fund 14 classroom projects.

At MEI, we believe the greatest impact happens when employees are empowered to support causes they're passionate about. What started as a fun fundraiser has created opportunities for learning that continue to make a difference in classrooms every day.

MEI Total Elevator Solutions’ Minnesota Branch recently toured and volunteered with Every Meal, an organization dedicated to providing weekend food support to students and families across 75 communities in Minnesota.

During the event, the MEI team packed 1,368 food bags — helping provide 5,244 meals to families in need. MEI is grateful for the opportunity to support organizations making a meaningful impact in the communities they serve.

Team members from MEI Total Elevator Solutions and SignPro traveled to Kentucky to serve alongside the Christian Appalachian Project (CAP).

The project focused on rebuilding a house for a mother and daughter displaced by severe flood damage. From demolition and repairs to rebuilding key areas of the property, the work completed throughout the week helped move the family one step closer to returning home.
