We are fortunate that our friends and trade friends were seamless in getting this project quickly turned around. This home had been neglected on upkeep and DIY electrical (found 10 extensions in the basement drop ceiling) and plumbing. Mid project update.

Insulation Learning Lesson - CJC Carpentry is remodeling this home. We added insulation to the slanted roof - which is their bedroom. You can see that the heat is staying in the room where it was recently insulated. The cold (letting air out) is the no snow areas. The small one on the right is a closet we are in the process of finalizing the insulation. The part on the left is an attic space that is to be remodeled in the Spring. Today's snow, shows you where the heat is escaping. What an incredible example.

What an incredible example of insulation doing it's job. The job of keeping the heat in the house. When it escapes, it will melt the snow, and show you the roof spots. The snow covered portion on the right is what we recently had insulated last week.
