Lot clearing is wrapped up on our newest modular home build, and our crew is moving into the next phase of site prep!

We’re the general contractor, builder, and excavator on this project. Handling the excavation with our own crew keeps the site work and construction coordinated from the start and gives the homeowner one point of contact overseeing the build.

Right now, we’re root raking the topsoil and stripping organic material from the area where the home will sit. We’ve established the building layout, checked everything for square, and set elevations to account for proper drainage away from the finished home.

There’s a lot of work that happens before the home arrives, and getting these details right matters.

Another modular home project is officially underway! 🏡🌲

We’re kicking off another build this fall, with our team leading the project as general contractor. Today, the 320 excavator, Kubota skid steer, and wood chipper are on site clearing trees, opening up the lot, and laying out the home location and setbacks.

Every new home starts with solid preparation. This phase sets the stage for the foundation, utilities, and everything that follows as we work toward getting the home set before winter.

We’re proud to have another homeowner trusting us to bring their project together. Follow along as this wooded lot becomes the site of a new home! 💪

🏗️ A solid pole barn starts long before the first post goes in the ground.

We’re preparing this site from the ground up—removing trees and root obstructions, raising the building area in controlled lifts, compacting the material as we go, and grading the pad to create a solid, dependable base for construction.

With the mini excavator and track loader working together, we’re transforming uneven ground into a clean, accessible, builder-ready site. Proper elevation, drainage, and compaction now help prevent costly problems after the building goes up.

We’re kicking off another land clearing and site development project this morning.

Our Kubota skid steer and Cat 320 excavator are on site getting started with tree removal, clearing access into the property, preparing a gravel driveway approach, and opening up the area for the new septic field.

This is the kind of project where our full site prep package comes together — taking a raw or overgrown piece of property and getting it opened up, accessible, and ready for the next stages of development.

With our 55-foot man lift, skid steer, dump trailer, and wood chipper all working together, we’re carefully and efficiently bringing down this massive tree extending over Onekama Building Hardware’s fence and lumber yard.
