Now Hiring Full-Time Commercial / Industrial Dock & Door Technician New Orleans / North Shore / Baton Rouge / Coastal Mississippi
We’ve been in business more than 25 years and we’re still a local, non-corporate shop. We’re looking for a technician to service and install loading dock equipment, commercial doors, high-speed doors, and material handling equipment across the Gulf Coast.
Experience in this exact work is a plus, but it isn’t required. People with a strong mechanical background, auto mechanics, facility maintenance, and similar trades, often fit this industry well.
What you’ll do • Troubleshoot, repair, and install mechanical and hydraulic dock and door equipment • Handle some electrical work as part of the job • Work independently in the field
What you need • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from the office (a company truck is provided for the job) • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic equipment, with some electrical background • Reliability, a positive attitude, and the ability to work on your own and follow directions • Ability to pass a background check and random drug testing
Monday to Friday, with on-call, overtime, and occasional weekends as needed. Pay is above competitive and based on experience.
