Wednesday afternoon update:

Even though the highest wintry weather impacts are expected mostly toward eastern ND & MN, there will be lesser impacts farther west. This means wintry weather is possible, just not as impactful as farther east. The third graphic, "Wintry Weather Impact" is a combo graphic for all types - snow, wind, ice, etc. Given the snow and wind Saturday morning, travel could be affected toward the eastern half of ND. More updates on the way as we get closer. -Meteorologist Kevin Lawrence
