A real flashback from the Dean Cabinetry archives. 📸

Built more than 20 years ago, this project takes us back to a very different chapter of Dean Cabinetry.

At the time, the company was a team of just three. They handled the design, build, and installation from start to finish.

Looking back at the detailed cabinetry, stained glass, custom storage, and woodwork throughout, it’s a pretty cool reminder of how much hands-on craftsmanship has always been part of Dean Cabinetry.

Every cabinetry delivery needs a good supervisor. 🐾

This four-legged project manager was on-site to make sure everything arrived according to plan. We think we passed inspection!

From a team of six working out of a barn to over 40 employees in a brand-new facility. Paul has seen quite a bit change over the years!

After joining Dean Cabinetry about 15 years ago, Paul has witnessed the company’s growth firsthand. Today, he serves as one of our Client Managers, helping bring our clients’ projects to life.

And while plenty has changed since his early days with Dean Cabinetry, his one word to describe what it means to him says a lot about the people behind it all:

Teamwork.

From the barn to our first showroom 🏠

In 2011, John Dean Custom Cabinetry expanded into a new building in Bolton, with more room for the cabinet shop, a growing team, and its very first showroom.

It was a big step forward for the business, and a place to build, grow, welcome clients, and make plenty of memories along the way.

Throwback to a very young Kevin and Audrey Dean at a project back in 2002! 📸

This was a unique one: three high-rise condos overlooking Bushnell Park were combined to create one penthouse, with John Dean Custom Cabinetry completing the kitchen and built-ins throughout the space.

From the detailed cabinetry and glass-front displays to all the tucked-away storage, there’s plenty to look back on nearly 25 years later.

Another fun one from the archives as we celebrate 30 years of Dean Cabinetry!

Winding down the summer with a kitchen made for coastal living. ☀️🌊

This Westerly, RI home pairs crisp Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace cabinetry with natural quarter sawn white oak, bringing warmth to a bright, airy palette inspired by its waterfront surroundings.

Custom John Dean cabinetry made room for thoughtful details throughout, from deep drawer storage and glass-front cabinets to open shelving, a dedicated beverage center, and an island designed for gathering (and recharging!).

A pretty fitting kitchen to send off the season.
