Atlantic Power Constructors is looking for a Director of Substation Operations to lead and grow our substation team! This is a senior role for someone who knows the work, knows the industry, and knows how to deliver.

You’ll be responsible for project planning, estimating, ex*****on, and operational performance while driving strategic growth in our substation work. You’ll build and lead high-performing teams, develop client relationships, and make sure every project is delivered safely, on time, on budget, and at a high level of quality.

We’re looking for someone with deep experience in substation construction and the power sector, a track record of leading teams and multi-million-dollar projects, and the ability to identify opportunities.

That didn’t take long…

Earlier this week, our APC team relocated an osprey nest to a new nesting platform. Within just a couple of days, an osprey is already back on the nest and settling in.

About as good as it gets!

The Sportsman's Alliance of Maine has a game camera up and will be sharing updates as the season unfolds! How exciting 😁

APC crews completed a different type of transfer this morning, relocating an osprey nest from a transmission structure to a newly installed nesting platform.

The new platform will be monitored by the Sportsman's Alliance of Maine, who’ve installed a camera to track osprey activity throughout the spring and summer.

Our crews are some of the nest ones around! 😉
