Your roof doesn't have to be leaking for there to be serious damage.

One of the most common things we hear is, "Our roof isn't leaking, so we figured everything was fine." But the truth is, by the time water makes it through your ceiling, the damage underneath can already be extensive.

On this project, there were no visible signs of water inside the home—but once the shingles came off, the plywood underneath was deteriorated and had to be replaced throughout much of the roof.

That's why regular roof inspections are so important, especially if your roof is between 16 and 22 years old. A quick inspection every 6 months can help catch hidden issues before they turn into costly repairs.

Don't wait for a leak to tell you there's a problem.

🚨 Your roof is talking... are you listening? 🚨

These ridge cap shingles have reached the end of their service life. The heavy granule loss, exposed fiberglass mat, and deteriorated asphalt are clear signs that the roof's most vulnerable area is no longer providing the protection it was designed for.

The ridge takes the brunt of the sun, wind, rain, and snow year after year. Once it starts breaking down like this, the risk of leaks and water intrusion increases significantly.

A roof doesn't have to be leaking before it needs attention. Catching issues early can help you avoid much more expensive repairs later.

If your roof is showing similar signs, we're happy to provide an honest inspection and explain your options—whether that's a repair or a full replacement.

Good morning from Auburn, NH! ☀️

Today's project is already keeping us busy:
✅ Three layers to tear off
✅ New plywood where the decking has oversized gaps
✅ Weathered Wood shingles going on next

A quality roof starts with a solid foundation, and that's exactly what we're building today. We'll share more updates as the project comes together!

07/20/2026

Progress is coming together! 🏠🔨

The new plywood is going down, and we're one step closer to a finished roof. Every layer of the roofing system has a purpose, and taking the time to install it correctly is what helps ensure long-lasting protection.

Next up, we'll install the underlayment to create an added layer of defense against the elements. After that, it's time for the shingles and the transformation really begins.

And we have to admit... today's office comes with an incredible view. 😎

Follow along as we take this project from the framing stage to a finished roof!

A new roof is only as strong as the structure beneath it.

This photo captures one of the most important stages of a new construction project—building the framework that will support the entire roofing system. Every truss is carefully placed and secured to ensure strength, stability, and long-term performance.

The finished roof gets all the attention, but it's the craftsmanship behind the scenes that makes all the difference.

We're proud to build every project with precision, quality, and attention to detail from the ground up.

There's something satisfying about seeing a project from above. 🚁

From this aerial view, you can really appreciate the precision and planning that go into every roof we build. Every truss, every sheet, and every measurement has a purpose. A strong roof isn't just about what you see when it's finished—it's about making sure the structure underneath is built right from the start.

Our team takes pride in every stage of the process, because quality craftsmanship begins long before the shingles go on.

Stay tuned as we continue this build and transform this frame into a roof that's built to protect for years to come.

Need a new roof or planning a new construction project? We'd be happy to help.

Every great roof starts with a solid foundation.

Today we're installing new plywood before the roofing system goes on. One detail many homeowners never see is that we leave a small gap between each sheet of plywood. That spacing allows the wood to naturally expand and contract with changes in temperature and moisture, helping prevent buckling and ensuring a longer-lasting roof.

Next up is the underlayment, followed by the shingles. It's all part of building a roof the right way—not just the fast way.

And we can't complain about today's office. The view isn't bad either. ☀️🏠

A small leak can turn into a much bigger problem if it's ignored.

This roof had a leaking vent that allowed water to get underneath the shingles, causing the wood around it to rot. Before installing the new shingles, we removed the damaged decking, replaced it with new plywood, and made sure everything was solid and watertight.

The result? A roof that's built the right way and ready to protect this home for years to come. 💪🏠

Photos show the before and after!

If you've noticed a leak or think something doesn't look right on your roof, don't wait until the damage gets worse. Contact us today for a free inspection.

Parts of New Hampshire saw strong storms over the past week. If your home experienced high winds, hail, or heavy rain, now is a good time to inspect your roof for missing shingles, lifted flashing, or other signs of damage. Catching small issues early can help prevent costly repairs later.
Not all roof damage is obvious. Missing shingles, lifted flashing, or small leaks can turn into expensive repairs if they're left unchecked.

Here are a few things to look for:
✔️ Shingles on the ground
✔️ Bent or damaged flashing
✔️ Water stains on ceilings or in the attic
✔️ Granules collecting in your gutters

If you're not sure whether your roof was affected, we're happy to take a look and provide an honest assessment—no pressure, just straightforward advice.
