We are ending this week by finishing a deck replacement project for an absolutely wonderful new customer!

They chose TimberTech decking in the color Sea Salt Grey, and we have to admit it is one of our new favorite colors to work with - it looks great with the new white Shoreline vinyl railings and black balusters. We were teased with hints of spring during this build, and it gets us excited for the beautiful weather to come! We were very happy to help this customer update their outdoor space, and they are ecstatic with the results!

It's getting to be that time of the year again, where weather gets nice and everyone starts using their outdoor areas again. If cleaning your deck, siding, patio, concrete, or driveway is on your spring cleaning list but you don't feel up for the task, we are glad to help! Pressure washing not only brings curb appeal back to your property, but regluar maintenance and cleaning helps extend the life of decks, siding, and concrete. We have been regularly pressure washing and staining the deck below since 2018, but it was actually built in the late 1980's! Now that it has been cleaned and dried, a fresh coat of stain will see this deck live for many more years.

Now this was a fun and unique project! Over the last week we had the opportunity to help a great new homeowner's vision come to life.

To preface what the videos and pictures are, this homeowner has a big (and incredibly friendly!) Newfoundland dog. The dog loves to be outside, so much so that it was always trying to go in and out of the house. Their existing dog door worked, but it totally blocked the use of their existing sliding door. So, for a solution we were asked to build a new porch and ramp, cut a new opening in the home's exterior, frame a new doorway, install a new fiberglass exterior door, and install a new High Tech Pet Products wireless dog door.

We love that we get to do unique and outside of the box projects to help homeowner's ideas come together. Please also enjoy the bonus videos of our new friend Teddy get accustomed to their new entry way!

Our project over the last week was a nice upgrade to a front porch and stairway for a great customer and even better friend! The existing pressure treated porch had a long life, but the new composite material make this home's entry way pop once again.. Complete with new pressure treated framing and stair stringers, Trex decking in the color Clam Shell, Shoreline vinyl rails with black round aluminum balusters, and vinyl trim board, this porch is ready once again for many years of use.

We love delivering a finished product right before Christmas! We were able to work with another great family, and assist in completely transforming their outdoor area. While Santa has been busy building toys, we have been busy replacing these decks and stairways. The existing top deck had fallen almost 5 inches and the stair span went on way too long to be sturdy and safe, but it is nothing we can't handle. After reframing portions of the deck at a time, we were able to build strong, sturdy, and most importantly safe decks to preserve the layout and square footage of this outdoor area.

This deck is fully complete with Trex products - all new Trex Select decking in the color Saddle and new Trex Transcend composite guardrails in the color Vintage Lantern with black aluminum balusters. All of that is tied in with the white composite post sleeves and new white PVC trim. The result is a beautiful area that is spacious and built to last!

Its never too late (or early) in the season to begin working on your dream deck! We had the opportunity to work with a family we have known for a while, and build a beautiful deck to make their newly built house feel complete. This deck is roughly 450 square feet, plenty of room for grilling, relaxing, and enjoying the gorgeous view that overlooks Carroll County farmland.

The deck is complete with Trex decking in the color Beach House, Shoreline aluminum reinforced vinyl rails, and Royal PVC trim board. We spent the better part of the last week helping out a great friend update their dark and damp basement and we are very happy with this transformation! We were able to completely remove an unused room to provide the basement with much more usable square footage. The outdated fiberglass faced ceiling tiles were replaced with new, white mineral fiber tiles and the old brown tracks were updated. The fluorescent lighting was very dull, and we were able to replace them with canless LED recessed lights. In addition to framing to enclose unused walkways we also updated the color of all of the walls to make the area feel brighter. Finally, we installed a new large format plank laminate flooring and new bright white trim to really make this fresh basement pop!

Another deck transformation is in the books! This was our project for the week and we could not be happier with the final product. It is always an absolute pleasure working with another great, local family and they love the results of this deck replacement.

This deck is complete with Trex decking in the color Beach House, installed with Camo Edge hidden fasteners, Shoreline vinyl rails and Royal white PVC trim - a winning combination for a great low maintenance, sleek, and beautiful deck that is built for years and years to come.

Our latest deck project received its final inspection this morning, and is officially complete! We were very fortunate to work with another great family, who were referred to us from their neighbor. We really like taking our customer's ideas and turning them into reality, but it is also very endearing when we are asked to build the exact same deck as the neighbor's because they loved our work so much!

This deck features Fiberon composite decking and hidden fasteners, Shoreline aluminum reinforced vinyl guardrails, and white PVC trim board. This is a great. low maintenance deck that is built to last for many, many years to come.

Our latest deck project is in the books! We had the opportunity to work with another great homeowner and they are very happy with the results.

This time around we decided to utilize a center breaker board. This requires more framing and planning but the end results are more than worth it. A center breaker is used so there are no butt joints and the finished product is a sleek deck surface. The decking used in this project was Trex decking in the color Clam Shell and all guardrails used were white Shoreline vinyl rails with black round aluminum balusters.
