When I started First Alarm Services, I wanted the logo to represent more than just a business. I wanted it to represent the values that guide how I live, serve, and work.

You’ll notice the letters AM+DG on the front of the fire helmet.

They stand for Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam—Latin for “For the Greater Glory of God.”

Many firefighters recognize those letters from the original Halligan bar, one of the most iconic and trusted tools in the fire service. The Halligan was designed in 1948 by FDNY First Deputy Chief Hugh Halligan. On the original tools he produced, he engraved AM+DG as a reminder that his talents, craftsmanship, and service were ultimately offered to God. The small mark between the letters was even intended to represent a cross.

That tradition has always resonated with me.

As a firefighter, I’ve learned that the job is built on service, humility, discipline, and integrity. We don’t do this work for recognition—we do it because serving others matters.

That’s exactly what I want First Alarm Services to stand for.

Whether I’m cleaning your windows, clearing your gutters, cleaning your dryer vent, changing HVAC filters, or helping improve your home’s safety, my goal is simple:
