This week, IMC Construction President & CEO Michael Lloyd was the featured speaker at the The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia's Middle Market Executive Roundtable titled “Expanding to New Markets and Industries.”

It was a productive, collaborative conversation amongst mid-sized company leaders on strategically pursuing growth into new markets and effectively expanding company offerings.

Michael shared more about IMC's recent expansion into the DMV area and facilitated a discussion on how leaders can make calculated, growth-oriented decisions while remaining centered on the values that have long defined them as organizations.

Our team had the opportunity to support Nemours Children's Health at its annual golf outing, with funds raised benefiting the Institute for Maternal-Fetal Health. We’re grateful to be part of an event supporting the important work Nemours is doing to advance children’s and maternal healthcare.

We’re also proud to have sponsored Community Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM) Golf Classic, helping support its mission of providing high-quality healthcare to uninsured and underserved people across the region.

We had another exciting milestone in a tradition that has brought together clients, partners, colleagues, and friends for more than two decades. What started 23 years ago has grown into a meaningful event centered on connection, generosity, and giving back. It was a beautiful day on the course filled with familiar faces, new connections, and a shared commitment to supporting the communities where we live and work.

At IMC Construction, we are proud to support employees who serve.

Matthew J. McGovern recently presented the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Patriot Award to CEO Michael Lloyd, Devon Dietrich, SHRM-CP and Jennifer Moss. The award recognizes supervisors and leaders who provide exceptional support to employees serving in the National Guard and Reserve, helping them balance their military commitments with their civilian careers.

Our core value of being people-focused means recognizing and supporting the commitments our employees make beyond the workplace.

This Patriot Day, we also recognize IMC’s active-duty service member Willie Mathis III, along with the many veterans on our staff. We are grateful for their service, sacrifice, and dedication to our country.

As summer comes to a close, we’re proud to wrap up another successful internship program at IMC Construction.

Our 2026 interns made valuable contributions across our teams while gaining hands-on experience in the construction industry. From supporting active projects and participating in jobsite tours to volunteering in the community and taking part in team events, they brought enthusiasm, fresh perspectives, and a strong willingness to learn throughout the summer.

We especially enjoyed hearing our interns reflect on their experiences during their final presentations, where they shared their highlights, lessons learned, and how they’ve grown throughout the program. It was rewarding to see the confidence they’ve built and the camaraderie they developed with one another along the way.

We’re grateful for all they contributed to IMC this summer and hope the experience provided valuable insight into the many career opportunities within construction.
Thank you to our 2026 interns for being part of the IMC team. We wish everyone heading back to school a successful year ahead and look forward to seeing all they accomplish.

The Brightview Senior Living East Brunswick project has reached another major milestone with the installation of the building's roof trusses officially underway. This phase represents the months of coordinated planning and field ex*****on by the entire project team.

Preparing the structure for roof truss installation required the successful completion of critical construction activities, including installation of all building foundations and slab-on-grade concrete, construction of the CMU elevator and stair tower shafts, er****on of the structural steel frame, installation of the Hambro composite floor system and metal deck, and placement of elevated concrete slabs throughout the building. Each milestone was completed through close collaboration between the design team, trade partners, and field supervision while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and schedule.

A special thank you to HCM, Roy Rock, LLC, Nomad Framing, and Anvil Steel for their outstanding coordination, craftsmanship, and commitment to delivering high-quality work in the field. Their partnership has been instrumental in achieving this significant project milestone.

With roof truss installation progressing, IMC Construction is excited to transition into the next stage of construction as the building continues toward topping out. Work will expand into the building envelope with exterior façade installation while interior mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection rough-ins begin throughout the structure.

The 175-unit community remains on schedule to welcome its first residents in the fall of 2027. We appreciate the continued dedication of every trade partner, consultant, and team member helping make this project a success!

IMC Construction is proud to celebrate the completion of the Morris Library Special Collections renovation and modernization in partnership with the University of Delaware.
The project transformed the Special Collections area with environmentally controlled exhibition and storage spaces, a reading room, classroom space, and support areas designed to improve accessibility while preserving historically significant collections for generations to come.

Working within an occupied library serving thousands of students required careful planning, communication, and coordination to maintain safety, quality, and continuity of campus operations throughout construction.

Thank you to the University of Delaware, Kennedy Violich Architects, the design team, our project team and our trade partners for their collaboration in bringing this project to completion. We’re proud of the finished space and its lasting impact on the University community.

IMC Construction recently joined East Orange Mayor Ted R. Green, Crescent Companies and Triangle Equities for an Information Session for M/WBE and Local Firms, connecting more than 30 local subcontractors and construction professionals with upcoming opportunities on the project.

Subcontractors had the opportunity to connect directly with members of the Brick Church Redevelopment Team and IMC team to learn more about upcoming construction opportunities on the project. The session also provided valuable insight from the City of East Orange’s Department of Policy, Planning and Development on resources available to local firms.

At IMC, subcontractor outreach is an important part of how we build strong project teams and advance our commitment to diverse supplier participation. We’re proud to connect M/WBE and local firms with opportunities to grow and contribute to projects in their communities.
