A shout out of immense gratitude to the Phillips family for the patio reveal invite a few weeks ago. Thank you Trisha and Brian for entrusting me with your new addition. Lawn Guy hit this outta the park- multi level patio, grill and bar area, firepit (check out those lights!), and my FAV...an outdoor daybed swing. It’s always extra special to see the LIFE a family brings to a design.

What was your serene weekend view? For this Eden Design client...a 20’ x 50’ mountain top pool and patio to touch the stars and take in the fabulous views. Terraced stone veneered walls harbor native plantings and natural stone stairs along the slope contour embrace a beautiful existing oak, giving refuge from the summer sun with a lawn patio and firepit haven. A Paradox Lakehouse you’d never want to leave! A new build on a beautiful lot. Nestled in pergola patio with herbs at the ready, outdoor shower, private huge beach, and no-mow lawn of thyme and sedge. Initially it may seem like a lot of plant work, but no maintenance necessity for a vegetative sea wall to accommodate water table fluctuations. Fabulous patio...VERY pleased homeowner! Linear pavers match linear lines of interior flooring and unique tile, and contractor excellence with workmanship and firepit addition (Brian Phillips of Lawn Guy) brought it all together. Unilock Artline paver field shines!

February Flashback- seems like a lifetime ago! A shout out to Landscape Design teacher Carter Whalen and Galway High School for the guest speaking invite! I was so excited to see landscape design in their curriculum. Thank you, Carter, I was honored to be a part of the program....and have high hopes for its future success! NOTE: This is NOT a political statement re: school openings...just an expression of gratitude for moments no challenging time can take away.
