🦠 A DIY Mold Remediation Story

A homeowner recently discovered mold in his attic and decided to tackle it himself. Armed with a sprayer, bleach and a weekend of hard work, he believed the problem had been solved.

At first glance, the mold looked gone.

But a few months later, the musty odor returned—and so did the mold.

One of the biggest issues? During the DIY cleanup, the attic wasn't properly ventilated and the work area wasn't contained. This can expose the rest of the home to airborne mold spores and increase the risk of cross-contamination.
