We're excited to announce the installation of a new Jet Bridge in Concourse A at Gate A3! We expect the installation to be completed around October 5th, and American Airlines will immediately begin to use it for operations. This gate has historically been a ground boarding location since the opening of the new terminal in 2004.

MLM-Martin Architects, Inc. is excited to share an important milestone in the history of our firm. As part of a thoughtful and strategic transition, Miguel Martin has assumed the role of President and majority owner of the firm; leading us forward with energy, vision, and a deep commitment to MLM’s mission to transform our client’s dreams into reality. Having worked side by side with his father for years, Miguel A. carries forward the same dedication to our clients, our craft, and to all who make this firm what it is. His leadership is rooted in both respect for our history and a clear vision for the future.

Miguel Martin founded and shaped the firm into what it is today. He will continue to guide us as Founder and Senior Vice President, ensuring that his wisdom and leadership remain a vital part of our future. While Miguel L. may look ahead to retirement in the coming years, he will remain an active part of our story in the interim and isn’t going anywhere just yet - continuing to share his guidance, mentorship, and passion for design with our staff and lead our clients to continued success with their projects.

​This transition reflects the natural evolution of our practice while honoring the legacy that has brought us here. With Miguel A. at the helm and Miguel L. continuing to lend his expertise, our team remains united in delivering the same exceptional service and design excellence our clients know and trust. This transition doesn’t change who we are; it strengthens us while opening doors for new opportunities, growth, and innovation.

Looking ahead, the outlook for our firm is incredibly bright. We are poised for continued growth, innovation, and opportunity — always with the goal of designing meaningful, lasting spaces for our community. Our team had a wonderful experience attending the recent MCO Means Business event hosted by the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority Orlando International Airport (MCO). The event provided an excellent opportunity to connect with industry peers and strengthen relationships within the aviation community. We are especially encouraged by the continued growth and development of the Small Business Enterprise (SBE) programs, which are opening doors for diverse firms to participate in meaningful ways. The SBE Town Halls, in particular, have proven to be highly valuable, offering practical insights and fostering collaboration. With strong leadership and a clear vision for the future, both MCO and ORL airports are well-positioned for continued success. We look forward to supporting these efforts and being part of the exciting growth ahead!
